Challenges: The war has caused new and unique problems for most Ukrainians. Citizens are confused, in despair, and lacking hope. For long-term solutions and recovery, people need to be given “not fish, but fishing rods”. They need to be taught how to cope with today’s challenges.
Our response: For over seven years, My Home has operated a multi-functional training center. Employees and volunteers are taught best practices for supporting adoptive families and others we serve. Families and individuals to whom we minister, from children to veterans, receive invaluable educational assistance and support for every area of their lives. Various training programs are designed to meet the specific needs of each person and household within the larger My Home family. We strive to equip every person with the tools for successful life management, personal growth in Christ, and ministry to God and others.
5-7 YEAR VISION: TRAINING CENTER
Our goal is to teach 10,000 people how to effectively cope with the challenges posed by the war and related crises. A variety of customized training programs will be designed to meet the needs of every member of the large My Home family. As needs are meet, we will more effectively serve God by ministering to others.
